Barry Jensen FSG, a gunsmith in British Columbia, Canada, has been interested in guns and things that go 'bang' since the age of 7. He served in the South African Police for several years and thereafter went into the firearms business. The Jensens relocated to Canada in 1996, from which time Barry worked for Dlask Arms Corporation until the end of 2003, when he felt it was time to set up his own business, Bits of Pieces.

He builds custom rifles, manufactures parts for firearms and carries out other precision engineering work not related to the firearms industry.
